Don’t look now but the fourth ranked Kentucky Wildcats are 9-0 in John Calipari’s first season as head coach. Oh and the Wildcats have this 6-foot-4 freshman point guard named John Wall.

At Madison Square Garden Wednesday night against No. 14 UConn,  Wall dominated, scoring 25 points to lead the Wildcats to a 64-61 victory.

Wall, who many are saying would be the No.1 pick in the NBA draft should he be one-and-done, scored more than 20 points for the fourth time this season. And Wall was being played by one of the most athletic point guards in the country, UConn’s Kemba Walker.

“We rode John Wall at the end of the game” Calipari said. “We were groping for offense, so we just gave it to him and said make some baskets.”

Kentucky will travel to play the Indiana Hoosiers Saturday at noon ET on CBS.
