Gators coach Urban Meyer held a press conference Saturday during halftime of the Florida Men’s Basketball game, he said that he will only take a brief time off after National Signing day Feb. 3rd and then he will continue to coach the Gators including Spring Practice.
“I’ve been instructed I have to (take a break),” Meyer said Saturday. By who? “My bride and my boss. Two pretty important people.”
“I keep hearing about this time off,” Meyer said according to the Palm Beach Post. “I tried that already. I tried a day and a half and it didn’t work.”
“Recruiting’s obviously going well,” Meyer said. “I have to change some things, I think, that’s obvious. But I’m excited about our staff. I’m really excited about our team.”
