A student at the University of Oregon is accusing two members of the football team of stealing two laptop computers and a guitar from the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
A student by the name of Max Wolfard, filed a police report alleging the crime, which names quarterback Jeremiah Masoli and wide receiver Garrett Embry.
And Wolfard is the only person talking, the Oregonian has tried to get comments from the university but all are waiting to see if anything “substantiates.”
Only one other person has accused or reported the alleged incident, and that was via a phone message to the student newspaper.
Oregon athletic director Dave Wilford said “We’ve received no updates from yesterday, and at this point, it’s our position that it’s yet to be substantiated that it’s a student-athlete involved in this incident. Until that’s substantiated, don’t anticipate further comment.”
Masoli is regarded to be one of the best college quarterbacks in the country.
