Tiger Woods has missed the cut at the British Open in Turnberry, Scotland. Woods had three bogeys and two double bogeys in his second round- shooting a four over par 74. Combining that with a one over par from Thursday, a day in which leader Miguel Angel Jiminez got in at six under. Woods finishes tied for 74th place. The cutline is the first 70 players including ties. The projected cutline is around four over par.

The only other time Woods has missed a cut at a Major Tournament was at the 2006 U.S. Open. The ‘06 U.S. Open was shortly after the death of his father Earl.

“I hit some bad tee shots, a couple of bad iron shots, didn’t get it up and down,” Woods said. “I kept making mistake after mistake.”
