On the heels of winning the Northern Trust Open by two shots Sunday, Steve Stricker moves up to No. 2 in the world rankings released Monday. Phil Mickelson who finished T45 moved from second to third in the rankings.

Tiger Woods remains ranked No. 1 as he has been for the last 244 weeks. Woods (523.8) has a 167-point lead on Stricker (356.08) in the rankings.

Spain’s Miguel Angel Jiménez who won the Omega Dubai Desert Classic Sunday jumped from No. 60 overall to No. 30 in the world. Korea’s Y.E. Yang who finished T15 at the Northern Trust Open jumped two spots from No. 30 to No. 28 in the world.
