Busch takes Pocono Pole

Kyle Busch took the pole for the 500 race to be held this Sunday at Pocono Raceway in Blakesee, PA. Busch recorded a lap of 53.102 seconds, 169.48 mph for his seventh career Sprint Cup pole. It's his first pole at Pocono in 11 races. Busch will be making his 200th career Sprint Cup start on Sunday.

Clint Boyer will start second, while Dale Earnhardt Jr. will start third. Kevin Conway was the fastest qualifying rookie.

Sunday's race will be televised on TNT beginning at 1 p.m. ET.
