The Cleveland Indians have activated left-hander Aaron Laffey from the 15-day disabled list and he started Wednesday nights game against the Chicago White Sox.
Laffey went on the DL on May 23 with a right oblique strain. He is 3-1 this season with a 3.93 ERA.
The Indians optioned left-handed reliever Rafael Perez to Triple-A Columbus. Perez was 1-2 with an 8.88 ERA in 31 appearances for the Indians.
