Greg Gagne, a longtime Minnesota Twins shortstop has been elected to the team’s hall of fame. The team made the announcement that Gagne, who spent seasons with the Twins will be the 22nd member of the team’s hall.
Gagne was a member of both the 1987 and 1991 Twins World Series champion teams. The 15-year veteran played 10 seasons with the Twins (1983-1992) and became the Twins everyday shortstop in 1985.
Gagne will be a part of a special on-field pre-game ceremony during the 50th Season Celebration Weekend, Saturday, September 4 when the Twins host the Texas Rangers.
