Tuesday Major League Baseball announced six participants for this year's Home Run Derby contest in Anaheim, Calf. Monday June 12.

The American League participants are set: Miguel Cabrera of the Detroit Tigers, Robinson Cano of the New York Yankees, David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox and Vernon Wells of the Toronto Blue Jays.

Corey Hart of the Milwaukee Brewers and Matt Holliday of the St. Louis Cardinals have accepted invitations for the National League, leaving two spots for National League participants.

It doesn't appear that anyone in the National League is dying to be in this year's contest. Albert Pujols has already declined, last season his home runs decreased after the event.

The Home Run Derby will be broadcast live on ESPN at 8:00 p.m. ET on Monday, July 12th.
