According to Philadelphia TV Station 6 ABC a man was fatally injured in a Citizens Bank Park parking lot in the 8th inning of the game between the Phillies and the Cardinals Saturday. The assault happened in Lot M at 7th Street and Pattison Avenue in South Philly. The altercation included up to 25 people.
Police say a 22-year-old man was assaulted in the parking lot outside the ballpark. The man was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead.
Police say it began at McFaddens Restaurant at the ballpark around 7:00 p.m. Officials say there was a bachelor party going on at the restaurant when the trouble began. The fight,then went outside to to Lot M at 7th Street and Pattison Avenue.
