Rookie Jonny Flynn is quickly becoming a legitimate NBA points guard, averaging 13.7 ppg and 4,3 assists per game in 24 starts this season for Minnesota . Monday night with three seconds remaining, Flynn scored a game winning layup to give the Timberwolves their fourth game of the season.
Flynn scored 28 points and dished out five assists. Utah was led by guard Deron Williams who is putting together an MVP season. Williams led all scorers with 38 points and 13 assists. Williams was named the Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday.
Both teams return to action Wednesday night, the Timberwolves host the Los Angeles Clippers at 8:00 p.m ET and Utah plays in New Jersey at 7:30 p.m ET.
