New York Jets quarterback Kellen Clemens will make the team's 53-man roster, but will have to take a paycut to do so.

According to the New York Daily News, Clemens will make less than his 1.176M tender offer he signed earlier this year just to remain on the team. The team also released backup quarterback Kevin O'Connell on Tuesday.

Clemens won't be quarterback Mark Sanchez' primary backup, though that job will go to Mark Brunell.

In the Jets latest episode of Hard Knocks, Clemens name was on a whiteboard listing of players who could be released. That apparently was all for the 'reality' show.
