Expect Magic Forward Hedo Turkoglu to get a big raise no matter where he ends up, Chris Mannix of SI.COM reports that a source indicates that Turkoglu is seeking $10 million per season. Turkoglu’s current contract pays the forward $7 million per year, a contract that he will opt out on June 30th.
Monday, Turkoglu’s agent Lon Babby told the Orlando Sentinel confirmed that his client planned to opt out.
“It would make sense for him to opt out.” “I can’t imagine a scenerio in which he would not.”
On July 1st Turkoglu officially becomes a free agent.
