Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said Monday that Kidd has agreed to sign a three-year contract for more than $25 million. That could allow the 37-year-old Kidd to end his career with the same team he started with in the NBA in 1994.

The deal — which can’t be signed until Wednesday — was first reported by ESPN.com.
