The Miami Dolphins signed cornerback Sean Smith.

The 6-3, 214-pound Smith was the second of the team’s two second-round selections in the 2009 draft, the 61st overall pick. He was a three-year letterman and a two-year starter at Utah and was named as an All-American third-team selection in 2008, when he started 12 of the 13 games in which he played as a junior. Smith attended Blair High School in Pasadena, CA.
