Bills Running back Marshawn Lynch is due to be suspended for the first three games of the season for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy stemming from an arrest in February on weapons chargers. Pending the appeals process the Bills will look to running back Fred Jackson for the first three games.
“I am excited about, not necessarily about the way it came about, but just being able to go out there. The first week of the season being Monday Night, you’re going to have everybody in the world watching.” Jackson said Saturday after Practice.
Coach Dick Juron will give Lynch regular reps and look for Lynch to have a impact over the long haul.
“There’s going to be an interval and he’s going to have to carry himself there. It’s a long year. It’s a really long year for running backs. They wear down over time so we’ll be careful. We’ll keep him going but he may get a little less than he’s normally use to in this camp,” Juron said.
