People are ready for Super Bowl LIX, a.k.a Super Bowl 59.

Most are expecting another recording setting TV and streaming audience for Sunday’s game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.

Between horrible weather and political drama, tragedies, people are ready for a diversion and to be entertained, there’s no doubt about it.

The Eagles will have all of Philly and half of New Jersey rooting for them, and it will go about 50/50 if people love or hate the Chiefs dynasty.

Pat Mahomes is fun. Saquon Barkley running through defenses is fun. It’s a pretty good matchup for the NFL.

There’s no doubt advertisers are expecting a large audience, as ad space for the event, notoriously off the charts, is even more off the charts. According to reports, FOX’s ad space is sold out. A 30-second ad was sold for over $8 million according to some reports, a new record.  Prior to the pandemic a 30-second Super Bowl ad would cost about $5 million.

Last year’s Super Bowl was the most watched in history with an average of 123 million viewers.

This year FOX will broadcast the game across broadcast television, and will stream it on the Tubi streaming platform. The NFL app will stream the game live if you sign up for the NFL+ subscription service.

Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady will call the game on FOX along with Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi on the sidelines.
